The use of CBD as Neurological Anti-Inflammatory and Physical Therapy

What is CBD? According to Project CBD. Org, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis. Cannabis is a plant that has been used for medicinal purposes dating back thousands of years. Recently, scientists and doctors have been testing CBD, and have been confirming its therapeutic properties around the world. Research has shown that CBD is a safe, non-addictive substance that is unique to cannabis. It is just one of the more than 100 “phytocannabinoids” that is found in the cannabis plant (2020).

There are 4 key differences between hemp and marijuana which are their composition, their legality, the way in which they are cultivated, and their usage. Both hemp and marijuana can produce high levels of Cannabidiol (CBD). However, hemp can contain 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or lower. Marijuana can contain up to 30% THC or higher.
